egr valve help

ok so i took the plenum off my 300zx and the egr valve broke but it ran funny and would shake before but ran good on the road. why couldnt i just leave that broke i cant pull the motor out right now.

Yea I've seen that, here it is the egr sensor wire broke and I think I was never really attached and I believe that's what caused the car to run like it did sometimes. Anyway I don't like to remodify things so I'm taking the sensor out cleaning it and resoldering the wire. Seems to be rather easy to just take the sensor out.
