the tube from the egr that connects to the exuast manifold, if i plug that will it hurt my car? the reason being my downpipe from thge turbo has nowhere to connect to the egr tube.

should i plug it or just leave it open?

if your not gonna hook up that tube you might as well completely remove the egr system and fabricate a plate to mount where the egr bolts to the intake manifold. Be aware though you will get a code for egr system malfunction if it is not hooked up and working.

no you will need to plug it off ,otherwise you will have a huge vaccum leak when the EGR opens
