Where is my EGR valve and how do I go about cleaning it??

On my S14, the EGR valve looks like a silver miniture garbage top about 2.5" in diameter. It is connected to a similar one about the same size. This is located behind and slightly below the intake manifold runners next to the firewall. There should be several vacuum hoses running in and between the two valves. (BTW: The other thing is the EGR Backpressure Transducer). The EGR valve should be attached to its mount with (2) Phillips screw types and a rubber gasket. I'm not sure how you would clean it, but make sure there are no obstacles on the rubber-type diaprahm so it can open and close under certain vacuum pressures (chiltons recommends using a vacuum thingy for this)
