Hello All:Ok, I know there's some previous posts on this matter but I couldnt find my solution. I have a 90 240SX that's reading ECU code 32.. which is the EGR system. I checked the hoses (fine), and before I want to make sure that I need to replace the actual EGR itself, I was wondering if there's some other checks I can do. One guy posts:

"It can only be 4 things1. EGR valve2. BPT valve3. EGRC solenoid valve4. Vacuum related problem"

Does anyone know where I can find the BPT valve or the EGRC sol. valve and if they are even good places to start looking?

Thanks!

bpt valve is ontop of the colector (big metal box that says eccs on it)

check all the hoses for leaks, that is most likely the problem

bpt looks like a saucer and so does the egr. the egr's under the bpt. your vac lines are everywhere there's a small black hose (check the one under the bpt to the egr, those are pretty common to wear out) and the solenoid is at the front of the collector under the throttle body.

Yup, mine had a hole in it.

Just curious, what are the symptoms of a car that has a bad BPT/EGR valve?

I am having a SEVERE hesitation issue.

I am not getting any CEL either.
