EGR system

Im putting a KA24DE from a 91 240sx in my 72 datsun 510 and im having some clearance problems with the tube that runs from the exhaust manifold to the intake. If I was to remove this tube and plug the holes how would the car run? Do I need to disconnect the sensors as well? One thing is for sure and that is the tube has to go. Any advice is appreciated. Running the car without EGR isnt something I would do, but I dont think it would really matter... Youll just want make sure that the port where it plugs into the plenum is covered as not to cause a vacuum leak.....

Would there be any way for you to fab a new EGR pipe so that you could still use it??

Also, beware that youll probably get a myriad of CELs and stuff like that...

deleting the EGR is no big deal. The car will run fine with out it. The only thing you have to worry about is emissions. You can delete every emission thing on the KA motors with out any motor problems. The only problem you will have is that you will not pass emissions if your state still has them. When deleteing emissions just be sure to plug all holes and you can disconnect all the sensores with out hurting the ECU. Emissions is no concern of mine. my car is smog exempt. Does anyone have any pics of a ka24de with no smog stuff.

I have heard of using the ECU and wiring off a 1980 200sx because it is more simple. Has anyone else heard of this?

Air Intake Valve

and BPT I am not sure of the Acronim but it is the secondary butterfly just before the injectors in the intake manifold. Not sure about the 200sx computer.
