Ok, so when I took off my EGR solenoid to get the plenum out I noticed something that was strange.

The yellow marked hose is connected to nothing but I believe he should be connected below him on the solenoid. However, there is already a hose there (marked in blue) and it goes all the way back around to the EGR and plugs in somewhere back there (I need to take the hood off to get a better look back there). That doesn't seem right.

The red guy goes out and IIRC plugs into the plastic just outside the throttle body that connects both throttle bodies to the air intake/MAF.

And I think the green guy plugs in under the throttle body intake.

Am I correct in that the yellow guy should be plugged in there? I am wondering what has been done to this engine considering this and the cut VTC lines (tick-tock-time-to-dump-the-j-ticking-so ... l#p6608590)

I think it was just cut at the back and this was a re-route. Yet another reason for me to delete that line underneath. I could probably delete the post but the pic might be useful for someone.
