Hey guys,

About a year ago I installed OBX cat-less headers on my 2005 Altima SER 6MT. The headers were supposed to fit exactly, but didn't come with an EGR port on the rear header... I didn't notice this until I was hours into the install so I just blocked off the EGR port on the engine and disconnected the valve.

Is there some type of EGR simulator out there for the VQ35DE? I'd ultimately like to get a set of Cattman headers but I won't have the cash to do so until my tax return. Until then I have to get my inspection done ASAP and can't with my check engine light on.

Easiest way at this point would be to order UpRev, do a simple flash and disable the CEL for EGR or swap the oem headers on.

I just read up on some of the "UpRev" products and it seems pretty cool, I like how you can buy any of their tuning products and upgrade them later on (buy the data logger and upgrade to have reflash capabilities for example). I have no problem spending the $500 on the Osiris Standard, which I'm guessing will allow me to disable EGR flags(?) but the only thing holding me back is that I've never heard of UpRev. Now I don't know if that's just me and they are a well-known brand, but if I'm going to spend $500 I don't want it to be a waste. I was looking into the Technosquare reflash services and I'm curious as to how the two compare...

I see in your signature you have one of the Osiris products. Have you (or anyone else) had good experiences with UpRev? How good are they at getting back to you on creating custom tunes? Can you mess around with any of the tunes yourself? Just curious what your input is.

Screenshots for you, you have full control over everything. Check with them before you order to make sure your car is supported.

I have the Tuner package so I can change whatever I want when I want. I have some CELs disabled (2nd o2 for starts because I have a wideband in that port). Allows full data logging, etc.

They're pretty quick. They have a FaceBook page as well. They know their product inside and out and tune a LOT of cars for races etc.

That looks exactly like what I'm looking for but I don't see the "Altima" on their supported products page. I e-mailed them a few days ago and haven't gotten a response yet but I'll post back when I get an update.

Altima isn't listed, but my 2.5L and the 3.5SE is supported for newer models. It just depends on the ECU. I would suggest calling them for faster results. They are usually very busy for electronic support as they are a small company.

dont think it'll work. the inspection station station will test all the systems, if any have been flashed it will fail. all emission control systems have to run through a test to pass. i highly doubt getting the uprev will solve the problem. sorry

Ah it was worth a shot. I might be getting a VW R32 and selling my SER so I may just end up putting my stock headers back on. I'll let you guys know when I sell it, I'll most likely have the Injen CAI, OBX headers, Magnaflow cat-back, S5 badgeless grille, etc. for sale as well.
