The Canister- you might be better off relocating it if you can just for simplicity's sake.
For the EGR, that's a tough call... maybe put a multi-meter on it during its normal operation to determine what it should be? Either that, or look it up in the FSM (link in my sig) and see what it should be for testing purposes. Sometimes they say (if EGR measures between 1k and 3k ohms during operation, it is good). Once you figure that out, a simple block-off plate can do the rest
