Hey i know EGR removal has been covered plenty of times, but when i searched all i found for the removal was on the intake side. Well on the exhaust side, i put in headers today and had to cut a pipe coming from the black box on the exhaust side that has the hose run to the intake. Well heres the picture. Can i take ouut the entire black box or should i leave it.

Remove it and plug up the hole on the intake.

This system is the post-exhaust air intake recircuilation valve. Not the EGR. Close, but different. Same style removal as egr though. Block off downpipe and intake tube, remove contents, done.
