EGR Removal Help

for the egr removal, If the sensor that needs the resistor is on the intake manifold then what is the box on the right that has the red hose going to it in the picture? there's an electrical connection that goes into it, but i thought thats what had to have the resistor. thanks

That's the AIV box.
You can remove it and leave the sensor, that's what I did.

It's not the AIV, it's called the PAIRC valve. All it does is send air into the exhaust for some reason or another.

I don't know what you mean by "sensor", because all it has is a plug for power to the vacuum solenoid that makes it work... Just un-plug it and rip all that out, go to Nissan and get a bung plug to close up the hole where the pipe goes down to the exhaust. Make sure to buy some nipple caps for any vacuum lines that you remove because of this.
