EGR not getting vacume

ok so i get a code 32 so i start to check my vacume hoses, took the one off of the BPT to the EGR and the car rev to about 4k and no vacume? what could be causing this?

egr only works on cruising speeds.

have you checked all the vacuum line leading up to the erg vacuum modulator?check the small L shaped hose going from the ERG to the erg modulator for cracks....

Also check out the FSM for a way to test the ERG/carbon canister solenoid

if you pulled the line form the bpt to the egr that's called a vac leak. replace the hose ha ha ha. ok now with that out of the way, yes check the solenoid. Also verify that the egr is functioning ala pushing up on the saucer section of the egr while the car is idling, does it stumble/almost die? If so, definitely check the solenoid. otherwise it's your egr or bpt or the other vac lines running to it

Also the computer should keep the seolinoid closed, and cuts off the vacuume signal to EGR modulator and EGR until the engine is warmed up.
