yes your car will not hold idle if there is a leak in the EGR. did you use a gasket or RTV? without 1 of the two, it will still leak not matter how much you bolt it down. if you havent already, go ahead and add a gasket or RTV and you should be good to go.

Used 2 nickels in the fittings and cold welded the fittings, worked very well. Cost me 10cents + some jbweld.

the IACV hose should be hooked up to the cold pipe. you wont be able to idle without it...

ok right now I had to remove my turbo and go back to N/A. I have the IACV tee'd off the pcv line that goes in between the maf and the TB. ill have some pics in a little while just waiting for them to email. But the big Q was i bought the tee at napa and its about 3/16 in diameter would this be too small or does it matter?

do you still have these issues with the turbo off? im having some of the same problems you are as well. i just built my motor and boosted it. what exact symptoms do you have. does your motor shake from side to side? does the motor die instantly if you take your foot off the gas from trying to maintain a decent idle? what happens when you try and give it gas abruptly? maybe we can help each other. i have a thread right around this one, so check it out. im thinking i have a vacuum leak somewhere, but i had no carb spray to check that. did you remove your intake at all? what all did you do and whats your fuel setup consist of and what maf?

well since im N/A i put everything back to stock. stock injectors, no fuel managment system, stock MAF and i still have the problems. yes it does die right after i let my foot off the gas. i think my EGR is leaking due to me not using RTV on the seal. but i cant really tell what it could be because it dies before i can get under the hood to look at anything.

does it die when you hit the gas as well? you know you can spray carb cleaner (flammable) into the problem area, and if it idles normal for the time being youve found your problem. but yeah kinda hard when you gotta keep it running. i wouldve done this today to my car, but im fresh out of that shlt. tomorrow.
