Is it a good idea to delete the EGR? If so what are the benefits? :naughty: :naughty: :naughty: :naughty:

short synopsis; it depends. Do you need it to pass emissions? if not, its going to yield a cooler intake temperature but dirtier exhaust emissions.

If you're boosting the engine, you may be challenged to even find a manifold that allows for EGR in the first place.

I deleted mine and cleaned up my IM from all of the emissions equipment in the process (see build thread in 240sx general forum) but it's up to you and what your goals and requirements are based on where you live.

The first link I posted is one of the great threads here for deleting emissions on the IM if you decide to do it.
