right so can I just pull off the big disk UFO looking EGRC-BPT valve, the actual EGR valve, the EGRC solenoid valve and the canister solenoid valve... and leave the plugs hanging loose and everything will be OK?

I'm obviously not using EGR and im not using the fuel vapor catch canister (I don't even have one) and want to tidy this engine up a whole lot before I drop it in.

Its a massive mess of hoses and s*** thats for sure!

You'll want to make a block off plate for the actual valve itself, and if your really ambitious block of the two coolant lines that run through the manifold side of the EGR location.

I pulled the nipples out and drilled and tapped the holes for some metric pipe plugs, you'll also need to block off wherever those coolant lines are fed from.

Thanks for that.

Mostly worried about the ECU not doing things right once the solenoids are unplugged.
