my 1997 240sx se is giving me a hard egr code that wount go away.ill plug in a scaner/ scope and try to activate the egr and was not able to. i realy dont feel or have any driveabliy probs. what could it be? no communication to ecu? what should i test for?

Since technically you don't need an EGR system to run a car, you shouldn't feel any real driveability issues. I had a friend that had those issues, took him forever to troubleshoot.
