egi relay questions!!!

Hey yall, i am new here i just got a 1989 sr 240. I am in need of some help. When i purchased my car the guy told me it had a kill switch for the ecu "NOT"! I started looking today becuase i am sick of turning the switch on and off.

What the switch does is it grounds the egi relay on the red black wire and it is disconnnected from the ecu. i rewired it back to the ecu and my car does not start. anyone have any help to tell me why my ecu is not sending the ground to the relay. anywhere to start would be awsome!

Your question/statement is rather vague. But, I will try to help either way.. Take pics of:

The switch (if you connected it back)

The ecu signal wire (black/red)

And if possible a pic of your eccs relay, but from UNDERNEATH

If you can check the FSM (search) I would recomend putting everything back to factory original and then figure out if you want to add it back in.
