EGI Relay help please

When i turn the car off the egi relay makes a very loud buzzing sound the ignition used to stay on but doesnt anymore just the checkengine light stays on now. What is the relay everything seems the same when the relay is out as when it is in. Can i just leave it out or what. Also nothing in my gauge cluster works could this be related to the egi.

Sounds like you might have a bad ground somewhere in your dash.

alright ill go head and take a look at all the grounds

Well i fixed it all i had to do was ground the black and red wire better and it works now

Didn't help with your gauge cluster too, did it?
