what does the egi mean and what does the egi do? i did an s14 sr20 install in an s14 and it runs very rich and cuts out at about 4-5k rpms at 7 psi, i've bean having a really hard time figuring out whats wrong and then i found that my egi fuse keeps blowing on start up. would that maybe cause it to run rich? i've also checked for vacume/boost leaks, maf signal voltage, tps signal voltage, and ect for resistance all at the ecu side of the harness. also checked fuel pressure and it was a little high (about 50 psi at idle) i was about to buy an fpr when i found fuse blown. as you can see i'm chassing my tail.

electronic gas injection. i has to do with the fuel injectors.

I think we found the problem. We are running the S13 MAF on a S14 SR20. And i guess that doesnt work on the S14, well thats what heavy throttle said.

Hey, I am wondering if I have the same problem?My egi fuse is blowing out.. I replaced it for a bigger and got hot.. and the car quit working.. Do you have any idea what is going on?Thanks
