EGI harness location (rattling from dash), please help!

Ok, guys, after a lot of searching all over the internet I found out that the annoying rattle that sounds like it is coming from the middle of my dash, is probably the EGI harness. I need to wrap it up with something so it stops rattling. I however can't find where it is. It should be close to the firewall. Can someone please tell me how to find the EGI wiring harness. Also, if anyone knows anything else about the annoying rattle on s14's ('95), please help. It only does it when the heat/a/c is on.ThanksJosh

well hang upside down and look at the screws in place to hold the bottom piece of the dash up. remove all screws and stick your head in there. put your hand up behind the fan/coil unit and feel for a loose wire bundle. there you have it.

So I am assuming I am doing this on the drivers side of the car correct?Josh

mine rattles but its ont he drivers side, figured it was just the dash.

Can anyone give me more in depth directions than 2bn did. I'm not stupid, but I cannot figure out what he is talking about plus he has an s13 and I don't know if that makes a difference. Thanks.Josh
