So my question is...is it at all possible to remove the harness with the engine still in the car? Every write-up I find says to cut the harness out, but there's a problem with that -- my harness is basically brand new and I'm trying to sell it. I have it completely disconnected from every connection, ground, all brackets that hold it to the firewall, everything - now it's just time to pull it through the firewall hole, but it's a b****! Any suggestions? Thanks guys.

If it possible, get under the dash and get as much stuff out of the way as possible, then you gotta widen the hole a little (its not a must but will make things sooooo much easier. You could also de-pin the white plug its only 9 or 12 wires IIRC this will also make things a bit easier.
