EFI Fuse (searched)

I did a few searches here, and in the SR20 section and found nothing really. Bit of an oddball question:

As I was cleaning the engine bay on my 1995 240SX (S14 SR20DET) today, I decided to check the fuses to make sure everything was tip top. To my surprise, one of the fuses was blown. It was a 7.5A fuse (brownish color).

I checked the fusebox lid and it said this was for the EFI. I assume, electric fuel injection? I guess the part that was most mysterious for me is that the car runs, it runs great in fact. What's up with this blown fuse? Is it hampering my performance / efficiency in anyway? Or is it just something that would have been used with the KA24 that was pulled out of the car ages ago.

Replaced it.

And I guess my car doesn't like the fuse. I put the 7.5A fuse into the slot and drove, the car ran fine - no problems at all. Except when I came home and removed my keys from the ignition...the car stayed on?! It started idling a bit odd, getting lower and lower. I stuck the keys back in quickly and pulled the fuse from the bay. Pulled the keys out and the engine died...wtf?

AHAH i no your problem. do you have a alarm it may be tapped into that fuse and is shorting out the circuit thus leaving car ON!!!! like my car

Hrm, only the factory door alarm thing. Nothing further than that, in terms of electronics though the only other aftermarket stuff is the CD player and speakers.
