Well, I went to bolt up my turbo (until I can get a setup from dee . I will keep in touch Dee, school just has me in all sorts of fits currently) and I went to bolt up the turbo oil and coolant lines. Well, 1 hour later and lots of swearing and I still dont have the turbo oil to block line hooked up. I bent, rubbed, touched, every frecking thing possible. And the bad part about it, I had it hooked up at one point, then had to remove it because the coolant line closest to the block was above the turbo rather than below between block and turbo

Anyways, I decided to hell with it, why not upgrade to some SS lines while its off?? So, did some research and taka came up. I did find out some good and bad things about them. I also found out the guy also makes rubber lines (which, is a temp fix, so SS lines are what I will be using).

Anybody have any recommendations on what sort (or company) of lines to get?? Also, ofcourse its for a CA (obviously by category posting) so the oil to block lines have to be CA compatible (not certain on the sizes, but I do know they are different from the SR).

Thanks, Chris

I got the Taka oil feed line and I made my own water lines using Aeroquip pushloc fittings and hose.

I'm using Taka lines w/o a problem. You'll need and adapter to be able to connect it to the elbow coming out of the block because the one they include doesn't work. I don't remember the size off the top of my head.

You need to tell Harp that it is for a CA. He will then send the correct fitting which is an M12 x 1.00. The SR20 line uses an M12 x 1.25.

Yeah, I already sent an im off to harp on zilvia about it being a CA (as mentioned before, different fittings). We will see what he comes up with.

The only issue I have, is that the few bad things I have heard about them seem to be somehwhat warranted. But at the same time, it also seem the item was 'mis-installed' or some hogwash like that and the person using the equipment then ended up not liking it (even though it was purely user error )

I will keep you posted on what he says
