which engine will last longer while outputting X?

}where X=MPG)

which engine has or can be made to get the best X @ Y lb.-ft. / Y hp?

}where Y = power output (the KA24DE makes 155/155 right? makes things easier).

i'm thinking the CA18DET would be more efficient because doesn't a turbo take advantage of already present exhaust gasses?

please provide multiple reasons that with an explanation why (use as much deep tech talk as possible,) i need to learn somehow.

newb here, so bear with me...

thanks

ka24de = last longer why?

anyone who swaps are crazy power hungry drivers. old ladies with their stock kas = reliable 10-15 year old motor. the ka probably makes more like 135-140rwhp. pretty fast i know we can barely beat camrys with our big egos

all nissan motors ka, ca, sr, rb have been know to last over 10 years without trouble as long as the owner doesnt smash. give the car to me for a couple of days and ill destroy anything.

why would you swap in a turbocharged motor and spend thousands of dollar for a daily car that you never race? why not just shift at 4-5krpm on your existing ka lol.

i can't answer your question. but ka has bigger internals and because of that its stressed less over the years. turbo causes oil to run at hotter temperatures. thats why we have oil pressure/temperature gauges.

Posting the same thread in different sub-forums within the same main forum makes baby Jesus cry.
