So i just swapped from my old cracked dash and HUD to a clean dash and converted to analog. I swapped chassis harness appropriately for the analog. The analog was working and then the next day it didnt. However, somewhere or something has either burnt or blown and neither hud or analog cluster works. Here's the symptoms, my fuel gauge and temp work. None of my speedo or tach work, none of the lil lights for seatbelt, door open, check engine, coolant etc. I've searched but havent come across anything to help. But hopefully if someone who has had this problem and figured what ti was the help was be great. I'm suppose to drive the car 2,037 miles in about 2 weeks and trying to get everything together. Thanks Scott.

So anyone got any ideas for my boy???? We double checked and re-did the connections to the interior plug and still no dice.....we were thinking mabye speedo wire underneath car got damaged but that wouldn't explain the tach not working....oh his temp gauge barely moves up. Definitely not to a normal position.

I had this same problem. When I took out my dash, the dash harness was pretty much fried. I also had a lot of wiring issues through the engine and body harness. I had to re-run a bunch of wires and finally got the hud working. Now cuz I have coils its rattled the cluster to s*** and the HUD turns on and off so im going to switch to analog

So your saying my wiring is fried somewhere?? I was thinking that but definitely hoping that wasn't the case. Well the HUD nor Analog works any more. So I doubt I fried both wiring harnesses to the cluster. So I'm guessing somewhere down the line of the chassis side it's been friend somewhere. So what would it be though?? Like the chassis power dash wire is fried!?!? I hate stupid wiring issues!! Thanks for the help so far

Why don't you pull your cluster or dash out and check the harness? You want to just sit at your computer all day and ask other people whats wrong. Stop wasting time and check it yourself. Check your fuses while you're at it too. If something got burnt you would smell it.

I know the cluster works, tried it out on my friends car. Actually both HUD and Analog worked on his car. If the speedo and tach arent working. Would that be because its not getting a power source?? and if so can i send it a power source from something else?!?!

I've checked wiring and fuses. It's not like I'm asking you to do it for me, I'm asking if you and/or anyone else has ever ran into this problem and have any actual helpful input. but obviously that's to difficult for you. Thanks though :D
