Finally got around to snapping some pics. Went with this setup because, like Carl, I was tired of trying all kinds of things with E fans. Still using 1 though as a pusher.

Working good now with the pusher. I still need to do ducting which is a huge thing with cooling. So im hoping to see good things once its all done and on the track.

I went with using a SR radiator. before i started i had pictured a 2jz setup with how their radiator works with the cross pipe. Still hoping to remake it when i can tig and get the bender going. but the basic setup is out of copper parts from home depot.

let me know what you guys think.

Looks good... but the upper coolant hose looks pretty close to that fan!

I also like how clean everything is. Q45TB?

E fans are so simple... why put a clutch fan in such a crowded area. I mean that awesome if it works for you man, not hating just wondering lol

cool setup man, but i think the root of the problem lies in the koyo rad...the airflow rates thru them is absolutely horrid!

yeah i was talking to a friend about it. the radiator was cheap and available. after i finish up the ducting and and stuff and it cant handle the heat, ill end up ditching it for something that will hurt the wallet.

i still wanna remake the upper hose, just gotta get to the bender and get some aluminum. but theres a bracket and clamp holding it there.

the intercooler was actually free. friend gave it to me, just had to patch it up. otherwise its just to much of a ridonkulous intercooler. could prob save myself some heating issues if i had a normal size one.

shrouds coming. we are gonna try fiberglass and a sheet metal one and see what comes out better

I have a KA koyo thicker radiator and dual 12inch electric pusher fans and don't have a problem with cooling. I run a 3 inch thick front mount intercooler with a 270R front bumper.

Meh, I want my clutch fan back the car never overheated with the clutch, I'm using twin Altima pushers right now and I find myself checking the temp constantly... I'll def be doing a similar set-up at some point. I just wish the rad support didn't have to be completly hacked, oh well mine already is!

Wait, both your e-fan and your clutch fan are not close to the core and un-shrouded. I would say that that is your problem...

I am running two 12" fans as pushers as close to the core as possible without rubbing the fins. They have shims in some corners to prevent rubbing.

ive been through many setups. the clutch fan is gonna get a shroud but is holding up. the e-fan isnt getting any closer. its where its suppose to be.

just to clear up some history. these heating issues are with track time on 110degree track temps with 20min sessions.

i dont have any DD temp problems at all. ive been through all e-fans pushers and pullers. trying to solve this issue

my last setup was best with koyo and flexalites pullers with major ducting. but it would still get a bit hot on the end stretch. trying to solve all problems especially with the huge *** 6inch intercooler now.

my unshrouded clutch fan setup ran 82*c at speed and 84*c at idle...do a pull or flog it and it would drop to 80*c, i seriously think the koyo is the killer.

your headlights are going to fall off, then your intercooler will sag and your bumper will follow. gl tho.

That intercooler can't be doing good things. What about a water sprayer kit if track days are the only problem?

And ducting is your friend, I know you said you planned on doing some, but you are missing the stock undershroud. Nothing is stopping the air from exiting under the radiator after passign through the intercooler. Nothing is stopping the e-fans air from blowing out of the sides rather than passing through the core. Nothing is stopping the air from swirling above the radiator against the hood after it passes through the intercooler.
