ok i have been reading and seen alot of info on burning our own chips in the stock ecu. ?#1 is all of this for s13 ecu's or can this be done on a s14 ecu the one im most concerned about is a 95 ecu.?#2 what is the most common burner and chip that people are using and where to get them.?#3 if this is for s13 ecu how do i convert my ecu to a s13 thanks

Enthalpy sells a converter from S13 to S14 or you can repin the connector. IDK about the 1rst question but the only burner to buy is the Moates, don't waste your time with the Willems.

chezedik you said go with moates, i went to there site and it seems that they dont have support for nissans, am i wrong? also what do yall think of blazt .biz they are a little pricy but seems they are the only ones that have datascan or consult, whatever you call it compatible with a s14, thanks!

unfortunately s14's are a biotch due to some were obd1 some were obd2 some had obd2 parts on obd1 cars... you can probably get a consult for it thru slipnfall abit cheaper but IDK about s14. In all honesty if you have the cash you should get something with emutility from moates. they have stuff for us just not in a revised section....

I love my willem its a pita sometimes but it gets the job done.

The Moates will burn both the 27x and 29x chips, IIRC. This means you have Nissan support, as well as Honda, and many others. It also will burn out of the box rather than ****ing with a Willems for a week, giving up, and buying the Moates anyway.

Talk to Calum about getting a daughterboard. he can add consult support if you use the S13 ECU. Or you can get the real time tuner from him, which is like Biki-ROM, then you don't need an emulator.
