I would really like to get a new set of shoes for my 94' Q45.I just have no idea where to begin with specs. I am clueless and it seems rather difficult to uderstand all of specs to know whether or not they will fit. There are offsets, mm, 17 x 7. I know I want a 17 inch tire but what does the other 7 mean? Does it mean it won't fit my car? I don't know...for those of you who do, can you give the rest of us a lowdown on what all of this means. More of us would probrably buy aftermarket wheels if we knew what all of this stuff meant.

There is nothing sexier on a car than looking through a set of wheels and being able to see the brake shoes/rotors. I love thin spoked wheels; either 5 or 6 spokes. It's like a good looking girl wearing a thong.

These wheels are sexy: :D

The only problem is finding a set of rims that will hold the Q... Those are mainly made for sport compacts... While they will FIT, they are not MADE to handle the weight of the Q.....

Youll probably have to go name brand, or better yet, find some rims off of another infinit... The new I35 rims look cool, as well as the Q/M/G rims...

Problem with the three wheels you've listed is they're all designed and offset to fit a FWD Honda. This is made evident by the flush face of the wheel.

RWD luxury wheels are a bit harder to find and cost a bit more, but are definitely worth it! Go to http://www.fikse.com/ and see what high end wheels are all about.

I think this wheel.....

or this wheel...

either would be HOT!!

Fikse wheels are off the chart for style, build, and cost!

I've seen wholesale invoices for as much as $975 per 18" wheel... this price would be on par with wheels such as authentic AC Schnitzer brand, large diameter HRE, etc...

Unfortunately, the Q45 also uses the same high offset as the FWD Hondas :(

But you don't have to be damned to use flat faced wheels that look like they belong on an Accord. 17x7 +40 can fit on the Q, but IMO is better suited to do light duty work on a fwd Accord. In fact, that width with that offset would be dynamite on an Accord. You could run that offset up to a 20x8" and still fit 'em on mom's car.

Flush faced wheels, such as the ones from Ebay, don't look good on the Q, they don't fill the fender properly.

Now, a set of Fikse FM10's in 18x8.5f / 18x9.5r !! that'd be hot!

17x7" +40 fitted to a Q doesn't look good! It's too narrow. 17x8.5 +40 would be a step in the right direction, but then we're back at square one with availability being slim and all wheels that are available, are high priced.

Well I just checked the rims(didnt look at them before) and Ill have to agree with smith on this one. Those rims, especially first one are definately more suited for a sport compact. High rim prices on the Q? Yes. Are saving up to get some good one ones worth it? Definately worth it IMO if you love your Q that much.

Fiske on the Q=sexy

Good news from Fikse:

The FM10 18x8.5" in standard finish (machined, clear coated center, polished outer lip) retails at $999. They will build to order, any specification you set. Lead time is 4 weeks.

Ok, I don't mean to be a hater, but how great can these wheels be?

Perhaps I should repharse, how much better then BBS, can they be..

Don't even go there about bbs wheel quality, they have been proven time and time again... OEM for many large high performance sedans/coupes/everything as well as the only choice for many of the top motorsports in the world... Anyway for 999 a wheel, you can get the absolutle top of the line BBS wheel. It looks exactly like that fkse..

For about 500 a wheel you can get the CH which looks just about the same as that wheel, as well..

Please tell me what justifies $1,000 a wheel, over other uber high quality brands, that are the same or cheaper.

That beater Q you're talkin about getting.... two words:

wide + body

They'd be a mate to the Q in lug pattern, diameter, and width. Offset would dictate some flares (or some fancy baseball bat action) on the fenders... would be JDM tyt3!!1

THE SPECS ARE LUG PATTERN 5X114.3. OFFSET +5(F) +11(R) WILL FIT MOST IMPORTS. THESE RIMS ARE SILVER W/ POLISHED LIP. MAY FIT THE FOLLOWING IMPORTS WITH FENDER FLARES & 5X114.3 PCD TOYOTA SUPRA JZA70 JZA80 MR2 SW20 LEXUS SC300/400 SC430 SOARER JZZ30 GS300/400 ARISTO JZS161 JZS147 ALTEZZA IS300 JCE10L MAZDA RX7 FC3S FD3S RX8 FE3S MITSUBISHI 3000GT GTO Z11A Z16A S13 S14 NISSAN 240SX SILVIA 300ZX Z31 Z32 Z33 350Z FAIRLADY G35 V35 Q45 Y32 Y33 HONDA NA1 NSX AP1 S2000 PLEASE DOUBLE CHECK FITMENT.

Edit: the Fikse wheels mentioned earlier in this thread wholesale at $650per. Get on that.

Doesn't the one on the upper left have a bend at about 7 o'clock?

Are they a 66mm hubcentric design, even if one could run that offset?

^^Another good reason to skip this wheel and step up to the FIKSE brand. If you order wheels from FIKSE, they will build you four wheels to fit your car.

Ring BBS and ask how much it costs to have a set of one-off wheels made. If they take your call.

No way are the STICH wheels going to be Nissan-specific 66.06 hub bore. Clue #1 is, listed fitment includes the Mazda FC3S, and Mitsu 3000GT. Both use a 67.06 hub bore..

The disclaimer "Please double check fitment" should be in red bold capital letters.

Hmmm, strangely I do understand what you mean by seein the brake rotors/shoes and comparing that to a chick wearing a thong. I have been informed that the Infiniti is a very heavy car...so you will need wheels that can support the weight. Personally I think the Q somewhat has the body of a Jag or a BMW 7 series. Both cars I mentioned look pretty damn good (and sporty too) with rims that have a lip on em, so I can imagine the Q would look great too. That is the look Im goona go for.
