well im ****ed, or my 240 is. I took it to the shop cuz i was still losing brake fluid and my brakes were pulsing and grinding sometimes, turns out my master cylinder is ****ed over cuz its filled with brake fluid, my slave cylinder is shot, i need new rotors, and other misc items. Estimate right now is over a grand and rising. ****, i could get a new 89 240 for that... so pissed i came home and kicked the dog, cat and my mom.

Go get junkyard parts and do it yourself. : ) Maybe I'll do a writeup on that as well : ) Course, the easiest way would be if you had a lift or if you pulled the engine. Just grab the parts, take that grand, triple it, and we'll throw in a SR20 for ya. : )

it depends on the RB, the 25s are looking to be around 4k, the 26s between 5-6.5k

I could send you my old rotors from my 240 its a 93.The rotors are kinda old in a way but i guess u could use em for now i dont have any use for em since i got some other kinda rotors.

thanks GoofyATX240 for the offer, but i think i got it covered. My mechanic (who is a good guy, not trying to jew me) said that its not a good idea to get a used master cylinder because its not going to be reliable, so im going to get a new one. for my booster i have to get a used/and or rebuild this one because they dont make anymore for my model. And since my rotors were ground down way below the legal limit, im going to go ahead and upgrade to the 300zx crossdrilled. I was planning on doing this after the swap but i guess i might as well do it now. And even before the sr swap i still got to find my parts for auto to manual...I scour parts trader every day but still nothing. I think god curses me for kicking my cat. (and mom)

don't kick dogs ***hole. You can easily kill them with just one kick.

As previously stated just buy the parts yourself. A reman brake master cylinder is only around 89 dollars. The rotors are like 40 for the front and 25 for the rear. If the calipers are bad just buy a rebuild kit (it's just a seal) for like 10 bucks at most. Brakes would be another 50 for the front and 10 in the back (if you get cheap autozone brand) or around 30-50 in the back for lifetime warrenty quality brakes The slave cylinder I don't know about because I never had to buy it for my '89 but it won't be over 100 if you buy it remanufactored. It's all easy stuff too
