Ok so i have a 1990 s13 with an s13 blacktop in it. I have the E5 Ecu. I recently decided to move the ECU from under the radio to in the passenger kick panel and noticed there were 16 wires not going anywhere some even had the metal exposed. This makes me quite curious as to how well this harness was wired up (By the way i purched the car with the sr20 already in it). Well i just wanna know if anyone can tell me where to run these wires. Below is a list of all the pin numbers and what i read online that they go to. I am curious if this could somehow be linked to my poor gas milage and my car not wanting to idle after i run it kinda hard. I know the Auto transmission ones arent used cause the car was converted to a manual before the SR swap was done. And the A/C ones should be either cause the AC and power steering were removed after the swap.

Any help would be greatly Appreciated.THANKS ALOT!

I wired up my s13 blacktop SR20DET in my 91 240sx so i may be able to help, is the ECu normally behind the radio on 89-90 models? cause i know mines already in the kick panel area. I wasn't aware there were different S13 blacktop ECU's unless ur SR was automatic, maybe?

Well when I got the car the ecu was shoved where the glove box should be... No glove box lol. And it had no radio so I moved it back there but I recently put a radio in an decided to move it to the kick panel. He said the shell was originally an automatic. I'm curious on if the ecu is from the ka? Could that be possible? It doesn't run wonderfully and never has. It's an e5 ecu. I also have a mines tuned ecu that says 62 on it.. It's tuned for a gt28rs a z32 maf and 550 injectors. I wonder if that could have been the ecu that came with the sr20 motor?

well does it have all the mods listed for the mines ECU? if so its likely the mines mines ecu wasn't just thrown in as part of the deal, but actually the ECU ull need to run in the engine. Not sure if the ECu is ka get the number on the outside and reference it on the internet to find out. Im not an SR20DET wiring guru. but pin 32 speed sensor should be hooked up down to the speed sensor on the transmission im guessing with that unhooked your speedo isn't working. Dont worry about pin 43,44,45 ambient air temp i believe is for auto climate control. Dont apply to your car anymore. 25 and 26 i dont believe apply because i dont know of any exhaust temp circuit in our 240's. 24 i believe should go to the combo meter. here is free wiring diagrams and service manuals u can use for the sr to find exactly where they go. There is no S13 manual in english so use the s14 manual. 23 also goes to combo meter for as you stated light check. As for the rest im not to sure, but i know the answers will be found here http://www.240edge.com good luck
