Do you have any other mods?

Maybe you should do Intake/headers/exhaust first.

I would go with an ECU upgrade. My buddy has one on his eclipse and it makes such a huge difference. I mean he can shift at 9,000rpms.

Also, I don't know about your car, cuz my '93 didn't have one but my '96 has a top speed limiter, I can only go 120, the ECU would fix that, I just haven't gotten to it yet

Its makes a bigger difference on a Turbo car with an ECU, however on N/A's the changes are..not that noticeable.

You can get rid of the speed limiter w/o getting an ecu

i all ready put a cut switch on the speedlimiter, the "intructions" are on 240sx.org...but if u have cuise control and cut it make sure u put a switch cuz the cruise wont work with out it? i guess its ur speed sensor? but what other ECU companies are there besides JWT

to be honest the ECU wouldn't be worth it if you went NA, maybe 8-10rwhp, for $600?Cams as well.Unless you want to tear he apart and rebuild her, you are kinda limited there. Port & Polish is an idea if you can take the engine apart.

If it's bragging rights you're going after, the ecu won't really be worthwhile. If you're gonna be hard (not just in a straight line). Then the ecu would be a good thing to change. The ecu not only raises top-end hp, but the throttle response will be more crisp, and it'll feel more like a sports car instead of your mom's car. That's not to say that $600 is a bargain, but I would definately suggest it especially if you're changing out the cams. Sicne it costs $100 (I think) to reprogram the ecu, I'd say get the cams first, then get the ecu.
