Ok so i ordered a z1 eprom chip, this chip installs in the ecu correct? the goldish colored box under pass side right? anyways i took the cover off my ecu and the sodderd chips in there dont look like the z1 eprom chip.... do i need a daughter board for this to work, i mean the z1 website said its for my car 93 na manual trans.. anyone know about this, or am i looking at the wrong box, cause theres 2 more boxes down there on the pass side. the numbers on my ecu is A18-A99MEO, and 2731 is the number beside that, the sticker has NISSAN UA on it as well. thanks

93 NA is 16 bit ecu, these don't have a EPROM in the traditional sense and require a daughter board to be soldered in place. Research the 16 bit ecu, also to help you visualize it take a look at the Nistune Type-3 boards and how they install, this is basically what you'll have to do. I know a few companies sell the daughter-boards but that's up to you to do the legwork on.

This is what you need, http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/NEW-Z32- ... 0092872350 I suggest you get a hold of Z1 and make sure they sent you the correct tune (the chips will look the same but there may be differences due to new style vs old style injectors). Also get a hold of Ash and see if he has any board and recommendations on how to proceed.

Np man, glad to help and yeah, once you've been through as much as I have with this car you end up inevitably collecting a lot of knowledge lol.
