ECU upgarade~ needs some info!!

Guys, I need your help to pick one of these.....I am trying to get ECU upgrade and not sure which one I shouldgo for....

Jim Wolf Tech: $600 (I would pick this if price wasnt too high...)

Jet chip:$300 (I heard it works pretty good....)

Venom 400 :$300 (On the mag, it says boost hp up to 25%, true?)

Does any one has seen any dyno test on s13 with these?I am sure ther are ppl who had done this upgrade.So please, give me some infos about them.

I have the JET ecu upgrade in my car and let me tell you it makes a difference. I have never had my car dynoed so i can't tell you the actually gains, but when you drive/ride in it you can tell a difference. But be warned on any of these if you live in a state that does emissions testing.

one more thing i meant to add, the JWT i believe removes your top speed limiter while i know that my jet still cuts off at 118.

Oh..I see. Thanks. So if i get these upgrades, i wont be able to pass emission test what so ever unless I take them out again??And when the speed limiter cuts off at 118, then u can go any faster??

JWT will also rechip your ecu if you've already gone through them for the original upgrade for only $100 more. So, if you add a turbo, or go with higher compression, bigger injectors, N2O, etc.; they can reprogram it to spec.I have not done this with my car, yet...

DEFINITELY go with JWT. It's tried and true.

I dont know anything about those Venom or Jet chips, but I know if you see them on late-nite infomercials, they can't be that good.

JWT knows their stuff--they've been doing this for a while and deal almost exclusively with nissan.

You can pick up a used one for say $350, and get it programmed to whatever you want, so it will actually be $150 cheaper than $600. That's what I did. Plus, you can always upgrade, and always get your $ back when selling it.

I see....Thanks for the infos!! But s14Dude said that if i get one of these, I wont be able to pass emissions test, is that true??Also, I would like to know where I can get used JWT...brand new one is pretty expensive....
