i just did jovan's wiring for the ecu to the dash.his clip came with the same wiring as well..for some reason...on the CA harness...the ecu comes with a male plug to the dash female plugthe KA harness...the ecu comes with a female plug to the dash male plug..

so i took the female dash plug from the CA, cut and took off the female ecu plug from the KA and connected the two.making a female to female plug..one side-KA to dash...and the other side-CA to ECU

it was very easy and convienent(SP?) and will be long enough to go down from the dash to the ecu.i also thought it was a better idea than having to splice into the ECU wiring when i had the plugs at our disposal.making it simiple so that if you had to disconnect it for any reason..you wouldnt' have to reach all the way up into the dash or take it out for that matter to get it off..

i'll be starting on the actual wiring harness tomorrow....taking the KA wiring with corresponding wires/colors to extend the CA wiring harness...

any advice on the wiring harness?where to start the extension from ?

thanks

jimmy

Nope, the 2 plugs by the behind the battery (grey and brown) you do the same thing, cut and splice. But follow the wiring diagram to match the right wires.

You extend the MAF wires. Buy a small spool of wire to extend the MAF harness about 5". You can start about halfway up the harness.

i havent' looked at the ka harness to see if the wires are color coordinate to the ca one....cuz i'll prolly use the ka one to extend it with the same colors for the harness and the maf...

thanks for teh reply

some of the wires wont match up color for color. Plus you have to splice 2 wires to one wire I think on the grey plug, not 100% sure.
