I just finished rebuilding a stock ka24de on 1993 240sx. the engine idles great at around 750 rpm. i hooked up a vacuum gauge to the intake mani. its reading 18HG. so i think thats pretty good. i checked the ecu for codes and i got a 55 which i know it means that its has no malfunctions. cleaned the maf with maf cleaner. but when i take off from a complete stop the car seems to be a little hesitent when i take off. when i get up to speed i can punch it at around 40 mph and it takes off fast. but i guess my question is do you guys think maybe i need to have my car taken it to have the timing adjusted electronically? I was advised to do that but i dont want to waste my money on something thats not going to work. i did some searching here on the site and didn't find very much. thanks for any help!
