The issue I was having with the car was loss of power and a studder /stumbling of sorts when under load or WOT. If I drive it with 1/2 throttle it's okay. So I pull the ECU codes and found it's flashing 43 Throttle Position Sensor. My question is, does this mean the the sensor needs to be adjusted or that it needs to be replaced? Thanks in advance for your time.

s13 ecu troubleshooting capabilities are garbage at best. in my experience a bad MAf has cause 4 diff codes at once so whatever the ecu is telling you may not be the real issue. id start at the MAf and work my way down the line.

This is the only code it's showing. I've swapped out the maf, replaced two torn IC couplers, replaced the alternator and battery (they weren't working). The issue is still there. I'll probably inspect and test the TPS today if the rain stops.

If its throwing a tps code most likely its very far out of adjustment or there is an issue with the wiring or its bad. Id test all my sensors and wiring before spending a dime on a part.

Agrees with compactfean. Adjust it and see what happens. Check resistance on tps in closed, half open and wot. Post back if you figure it out.

I checked the voltage from the TPS and it's .45v when closed and 4.18v when wot. I have the auto TPS which wires do I measure for resistance? I'm guessing the black and white one, because the FSM said B and C. In the FSM it shows B and C as White and Black.

Measured the resistance from the white and black pin from the sensor and the resistance is 2.14 when closed, 7.4 with half open, and 12 at WOT. I'm guessing I should replace the sensor?

It sounds like your tps is good. Check for shorts or damage to harness? Maybe unplug the tps completely and see how it changes.
