ECU/TCU 91 vs 92

I found a Q for parts, and removed a TCU & ECU. The TCU is a 64U11, which came with a 91 Q. Mine is a 92 Q, 64U12. I'm sure it will work, but will there be any noticible difference in trans operation such as shift times, shift points, etc. I'll keep this TCU as a spare, but wonder if there would be any benefit to swapping it now.

They were always making little tweaks to the ecu program to address customer complaints....[real or imagined].

The 1991 has a major software redesign [softer shifts] which affected transmission reliability adversely, they fixed this in 1992.

Sell the 1991 tcu.
