Well I have tested a handful of little things to help narrow the problems. The walbro did help, but didn't fix the problem. We hooked up a narrow band AFR gauge just to see what was happening. I was surprised5t to see it was actually steadily becoming too rich and not leaning out. I don't think my FPR is working so I'm going to put on my other fuel rail which WAS working fine.

I had this same problem with my car a little while ago and I changed the pump and it still ran like crap.. Then I squeezed the return line to bump up the pressure on the injectors and the engine rev'd up good... So I changed the fuel rail with another one that I had, because I wanted to try another FUEL PRESSURE REGULATOR.. I did this and it works.. So the fpr was bad.
As for the knock sensor code 34 , i cut my old useless harness open and made sure i knew the whole circuit. so if it does come down to bypassing it to test I know its not half as hard as i thought it was. But I also don't see wiring being a concern, because from what I see the knock sensor circuit main wire is very well protected. but we will see.
