i tried to find this using the search red thing but i could not find it. im tring to price a sr20 with an IC and the good stuff i need to run the car at the 205hp it comes with. i need to know if i need to remap, rechip, or just get a new ECU for the sr20det. i can get a good price on the sr20 w/ trany but no ECU. and where can i get one if i need a new ECU. thank you

SR ECU's are fairly cheap and go for about 40-80 on ebay. The KA wont directly work on an SR. JWT can reprogram the KA ECU but thats not as cheap.

ask srds14 if u have a s13 blacktop, he has a ecu

the JWT KA reprogram won't directly work either. The KA ecu can only output to one coil, and the SR needs the ECU to output to 4 coils. You will have to use an SR20DE distributor if you get the JWT retune. IMO-DEFINITELY not worth it.
