Hello I have a 91 240sx SE with standard K motor. (no turbo). I have just recently picked up a Greddy TD06S bolt on turbo. It comes with a piggy back E-01. Now I have heard that the AFC control tricks the mass air flow reading and is not as efficient as getting a reprogrammed ECU. Any thoughts? also can I use my stock ECU and remap it or do I need to purchase one from a shop?

You could remap it with a call to Jim Wolf Technologies, its gonna be a chunk of change though. That's a really nice expensive turbo you got there. Last i checked the kit for that was like $2900.
