Does just re-programing your ECU void the nissan dealer warrenty?

Yes, re-programming your ECU will void the nissan warranty. You'd be changing the A/F ratio, throttle plate positioning, timing, just to name a few.

If you had the re-programming done and took your car in for warranty work, depending on what they were repairing, they may not even realize that it was re-programmed. But if they do figure it out you may be out of luck.

ya i also wanted to take off the speed governor so its not limmited to anything but what its own capabilitys are.

um, the speed govenor I believe is at like 155 mph, you plan on driving over 150 mph? and yeha pretty much any performance mod will void your warranty, this is why I recomend used 03 04 models for people wanting to modify them, no point paying for a warranty just to void it

Ya i dont know i like to be able to i have before handles great at high speeds for the record but ya i was just wondering because if anything i just like the ability to be able to go over that, But its gonna be a while till my warranty is up.

ha fast as i can, i wanna be able to blow by anyone. Already pretty much can got my whole school beat but not good enought yet.
