ECU swap?

sorry to repost this, but i posted this in the overal "240 tech" forum, and didn't get too much of a response, and since this is more of a KA issue than anything, well ... here's my problem

I'm about to wrap up the parts scavenging stage for my S14 Auto to manual swap, but i've run into a possible major snag.

I've found a manual ECU from a 95 240sx that is listed to fit into cars with a manufacture date of 6/94-1/95.

problem is, My s14 was manufactured in 2/94.

will this cause a major snag?

heck, i'm not even sure if mine's OBDI or II..., i think it's obdI, so would it be better for me to go with an s13 ecu?

I've searched the heck out of NICO, zilvia, fresh alloy, and can't find anything.

any help?
