ECU SPEED SIGNAL

Hello there Need urgent assistance.

Have installed a RB25DET into a Nissan Patrol. Question I have is how crucial is the signal to SPEED SIGNAL pinout on ECU?

Welcome to Nico. Sorry to see that you haven't gotten any help with this yet. Did you figure anything out? Have you tried looking up a factory service manual? Sometimes you just need to spend a few hours in the FSM figuring out how all the control systems work. You should be able to find it in one of these ones:

The ECU does not rely on the speed signal for anything except the factory speed fuel cut. I ran with my input wire cut for years on the stock and aftermarket ECU's.
