Ecu Speed limiter removal

has anyone figured it out how I can remove the speed limiter out of a KA24DE? I am using a 1989 KA24E ecu and a 1993 ecu, both ecus stop me at 4000 RPM, 111 MPH cant go any faster than that, there was a time i had a check engine light and I was hitting 6500 RPM 155 MPH in 5th gear in my S13 KA24DE that was my only time it happened.

u cud unplug ur transmission harness u wnt have a speedo nor will ur miles go up, but no limiter zer...11943#
