doesnt work wont blink red or anything .could this cause my car to not spark but turn over

no idea the dude who had the car before me fried the wiring harness so I put a new one in but ****s still messed up

That might be your problem of why the light doesn't work. When problem solving start w/ the most logical first then move your way up.
