Hey guys, i need to know how to reset the ecu of a nissan pathfinder 99!I'm having some issue on mine, SES light keeps coming back on. i brought it to my mechanic twice, first he changed the evap sensor then he cleaned my evap but after 4 days light came on. this is the code we are getting "P0442 Evaporative Emission Control System leak Detected (small leak)" any input of this? thanks in advance

It doesn't sound like the ECU is the problem. Even after resetting it, the problem will more than likely come back and you will get another SES light.

I would start troubleshooting the Evaporate system. Look for a torn hose or bad seal. From the sounds of it, the problem still exists. Needless changing of sensors and cleanings isn't going to fix the problem.

Hopefully your mechanic warranties his work.
