Ok no flaming me for this but where are the steps for this (throttle release)? Are they in our FAQ's ?? lol.. sorry hard for me to keep up sometimes too..
This is true... sometimes there is a breakdown in communication..Sentientbydesign wrote:Check out the FAQ, Sean. There are lots of goodies that you Noah, and Joe didn't tell each other about lol.
For the sake of safety, I keep VDC on. The last time I took it off, I almost slammed myself into a curb.Focusedintntions wrote:I just turn off the vsc button....car performs completely different once that is done.
I know all the goodies... I built the FAQ.Sentientbydesign wrote:Check out the FAQ, Sean. There are lots of goodies that you Noah, and Joe didn't tell each other about lol.
When it's dry I do..Focusedintntions wrote:I just turn off the vsc button....car performs completely different once that is done.
Bro, if I lived in sunny dry California, that would be shut off every time I started the car. Find a big abandoned parking lot, and learn how she handles with the VDC turned off.Sentientbydesign wrote:

The ONLY time I leave mine on is winter and heavy azz rain...Sentientbydesign wrote:

Oops. I thought there was some sort of collaboration.Beanor wrote:

I need to get a some 18s to d!ck around in. The wife is out of work and I'm not about to burn through a few hundred worth of tires.Beanor wrote:

Didn't you build one for your Maxima?Sentientbydesign wrote:
I need an intake. I can't stand this quiet engine s#it
Damned you NOAH!!! I was trying to let that idea go!Beanor wrote:

You could always build one out of CF. It's really just a slightly bent tube with a nipple sticking out in the middle...
I've just been to busy/lazy to do the procedure, but I'm very happy I did. Before doing it, I felt scared to pull any questionable maneuvers because my RPMs had to be overly precise, now I have more room and less lag.Jacko3 wrote:Sentient:
Finally, you are seeing the joys of flogging the G-35 Coupe. i told you that the ECU learns and relearns your driving pattern. I have been saying it for a while on this forum. The only thing is that you have to flog it routinely to keep it at that setting. The ECU uses the averages of your throttle input to determine where it keeps the cars performance and throttle response---can you say drive by wire? If you flog the G-35 Coupe on occassions on regular roads, it will last you for 200,000 miles---the car was designed for aggressive driving in mind. If you drive it like a grandma, it will last you longer. If you add a twin turbo, you are looking at 150,000 miles. If you add a superchager, you maybe looking at 160,000 or 170,000 miles. The question is, how long do you want to keep your G-35 , if newer and better models will be produced by the time your G hits these extreme mileage targets (just an estimation and approxiamtion, not fact).
The G-35 Coupe has far more complex engineering than most people would like to imagine. It is just that the engineering was made to appear simple, when in fact, it is not.
As for the VDC, I always drive with the VDC OFF, even in the rain, except in Brisdgestone tires. When i drive with the VDC ON, it is probably by accident when i forget. Far more exciting to drive with the VDC OFF.
lol i know how you feel...rain or shine...u should only use it when u need it...Sentientbydesign wrote:
