OBD2 ecu automatically adjust their fuel trims after a few starts and progressively as you cruise to optimize AF ratios. 89% of reset is accomplish in driving 15 miles. The first 50% occurs in the first minute after reaching 55 mph.

Things like knock sensor accumulators reset in 60 engine revolutions or 10 seconds at idle.

In a way ecu resets are the urban legends of automotive mods.

Intake "mods" usually reduce power and/or longevity of the engine, so retain OEM CAI when you want to return it to stock. "Mods" usually invalidate warranty, so if you can't return it to stock, engine problems may not be able to be solved.

You are smarter than our Board Idiot.

Dealers get very persnickety when problems arise with non-OEM systems and often demand a return to OEM to repair. Often the return to OEM solves the problem.
