does anyone know for sure if we should reset the computer after mod on intake? if yes how?

I never did it (or had to) do it on mine after I installed my Mods.

Never, never only disconnect the positive of a battery for a car without first disconnecting the negative. You WILL get a spark show or worse!

I've heard that you can also disconnect the negative, then pump the brakes a few times to discharge the ECU caps...it's the same as doing the ECU reset via the gas pedal.

i prefer the old fashion CEL flash gas pedal way , scared of frying myself ... again .. ahh no smiley with a shocking thing except this one

I was told you should to let your ECU "relearn" or adapt to the new intake since in change air/fuel ratio slightly. I talked to a deal and they wanted 200 to reset ECU....

That dealer was trying to rip you off... I'll reset it for you for no more than $150.00... any takers?

.. i was told you dont have too! it will adjust after couple of miles driving!!!!! so if the dealer tells you to do it.. i beleive they want your pocket

After you re done removing codes, keep an eye out because chances are it's going to do it again.
