ECU relay?

I just put a 96' de in my 89' with all 96' parts. I noticed that near the ecu, there is a plug for a relay which seems to be for the ecu. Will the engine still fire up even though the relay is not connected? Just wanted to know, cause If I need it then I'll go back to the junkyard since I remember leaving it behind when I pulled the harness out! Thanks alot!

it wont run with out the relay
