Like the title suggests, is an ECU reflash needed with the dual pop-charger?

Yes it is.

I believe the reasoning for the relash is that when doing dual intake the computer needs to be made to believe that the second "dummy maf" is there thus doubling the volume of intake air.

Some vendors even include a reflashed chip with the dual pop chargers like ConceptZ does.

I am thinking about ordering the Z1 Doolz dual intake with the v.2 option because I have a FMIC. What do you guys think about this intake?

With all the stock piping that is retained, and all the extra bends and piping that comes with the Z1 kit, or JWT kit, or anyones for that matter....I say build your own. I found a much better way to go about it and fabbed something up. Remember, off the shelf parts aren't always the best for your specific application, they just appeal to and work fine for the majority of Z owners.
